The Lotto-Soudal cycling team (or Lotto-Fix All for some races since 2016) is a Belgian road cycling team created in 2012 with ProTeam status. A women's team has existed since 2006. After seven years as co-sponsor, the Belgian national lottery decides to become main sponsor again. This is how the Lotto-Belisol team was born. In 2019, sprinter André Greipel left the team and was replaced by Caleb Ewan. The season was marked by the death in the race during the third stage of the Tour of Poland of the great hope of the team Bjorg Lambrecht. In 2021, the team achieves only 12 successes and ranks 18th in the world rankings, its worst result since 2013. Caleb Ewan achieves six successes, including two stages in the Tour of Italy, but falls heavily at the start of the Tour de France . He also finished second in Milan-San Remo, while Florian Vermeersch created a surprise by finishing second in Paris-Roubaix at 22. Less successful in the classics, Tim Wellens ranks in the top 10 of several World Tour stage races. Experienced runners Philippe Gilbert, John Degenkolb and Thomas De Gendt are also behind.
