Zefal Tubeless Rim Strips

Thanks to their slight elasticity, the installation of the strips is simplified and can be done without creases or bubbles.

Features of the Zefal Tubeless Rim Strips :

• Roll of 50 meters.

• Available Widths: 20 mm / 25 mm / 30 mm / 36 mm

• For Rims: 17-21 mm / 22-26 mm / 27-32 mm / 33-39 mm

Installation Instructions:

• Remove the tire from the rim.
• Remove the old rim strip.
• Clean the rim bed with a dry cloth. Clean and degrease thoroughly using a solvent.
• Unroll the rim strip by about ten centimeters.
• Stick the strip with its adhesive into the rim well. Position it approximately 2 spokes before the valve.
• Hold the wheel with one hand and unroll the strip with the other, pulling firmly. A correct installation corresponds to a smooth strip without creases or bubbles.
• Stick the strip around the entire circumference of the rim. The end of the strip should overlap, finishing approximately 2 spokes after the valve hole.
• Locate the valve position, puncture the strip with a sharp object, and insert the tubeless valve.
• Screw on the threaded ring and tighten firmly by hand only.
• Proceed with mounting the Tubeless or Tubeless Ready tire. Be careful not to use tools for tire mounting, as you risk damaging the rim.
• Inflate the tire and press it onto the rim (using a compressor).
