This feat is made possible by the new SmartEVO² compound, formulated with the know-how and the latest materials used in motorsport, guaranteeing a further improvement in grip and handling on dry and wet surfaces. In addition, we have lightened the patented SpeedCORE™ structure, featuring a thin, airtight layer of rubber compound enriched with aramid particles. The combination of these factors made it possible to create an even faster high-performance tire for competitors, but also for those who want to benefit from the same technology as professionals.

SmartEVO Compound: The new SmartEVO² represents the latest advancement in our high-performance racing bike tire compound, enhanced by incorporating our expertise in Motorsport at the highest level and the needs of modern World Tour cycling. It evolves from the SmartEVO blend of three polymers with "smart" characteristics, using new materials and innovative blending processes, now possible in our own manufacturing facility in Italy located near our global R&D headquarters. This results in an overall improvement in grip, particularly on wet surfaces, and a reduction in rolling resistance to record levels for its class, elevating both performance and driving feel to what riders World Tour fastest in the world ask.

SpeedCORE™ Casing: Innovative tubeless-ready construction developed by Pirelli (Patent Pending) for our high-performance cycling tires, representing our most advanced TLR technology to date. Derived from Pirelli's automotive know-how and made possible by our new production facility in Italy, near our headquarters in Milan, SpeedCORE™ construction consists of a thin, airtight layer of rubber compound infused with particles of aramid. This layer covers the internal part of the tire and thanks to the presence of aramid in the rubber mixture, it allows better mechanical resistance, improved air retention and increased overall flexibility: all contributes to the overall performance of the tire
