Pirelli P ZERO™ RACE TLR 4S tubeless road bike tire

The Pirelli PZERO Race 4S TLR tire is the first-ever competition tire with tubeless technology capable of providing high all-weather grip and built-up puncture protection, whilst retaining the signature feel of our PZERO Race range.

This result was achieved thanks to SPEEDCORE tubeless technology, our latest evolution in carcass constructions. Among our compounds, SMARTNET Silica rubber has the best chemical formulation for adhesion on even wet surfaces. Like the rest of the PZERO Race range, the PZERO Race 4S TLR is manufactured in Italy at our new factory in Bollate.

SmartNET™ Silica Compound: Pirelli SmartNET™ Silica technology provides high rolling efficiency thanks to its natural anisotropic orientation, which reduces heating while improving elasticity, to help minimize energy dissipation. Enjoy a very reliable wet grip. The large surface area of the silica rod molecules improves its natural adhesion with water, providing great maneuverability on wet ground. Puncture resistance and high mileage. Pirelli's SmartNET™ silica compound is made up of microscopic, rod-shaped particles, arranged systematically rather than chaotically, creating a strong, durable tire.

SpeedCORE™ Casing: Innovative tubeless-ready construction developed by Pirelli (Patent Pending) for our high-performance cycling tires, representing our most advanced TLR technology to date. Derived from Pirelli's automotive know-how and made possible by our new production facility in Italy, near our headquarters in Milan, the construction of SpeedCORE™ consists of a thin, airtight layer of rubber compound infused with particles of aramid. This layer covers the internal part of the tire and thanks to the presence of aramid in the rubber mixture, it allows better mechanical resistance, air retention and overall accumulated flexibility: all contributes to the overall performance of the tire
